BARCALDINE REC PARK
Barcy Red is located within the Barcaldine Recreation Park precinct. The Barcaldine Rec Park has a 1.1km long lake built in compliance with International and Australian water skiing standards and designed for a wide range of water sports. It is approximately one kilometre from the town centre, so it is in easy walking distance for the local community and provides large areas for cars and trailer parking.
Toilets and water can be found at the Barcaldine Recreation Lake Clubhouse.
The Ski Park Diner also operates from the Clubhouse offering a selection of meals and snacks.
There is strictly no camping in at the Recreation Park. Camping is available just up the road at the Showgrounds - book here.

GETTING HERE BY ROAD
You can reach the Barcaldine Region via the Capricorn, Matilda and Landsborough Highways and also from the north, via the Torrens Creek Road. There are also regular flights and rail options. Car hire is available in Barcaldine, and Longreach.
